Return, Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all direct bookings made through the website, phone, email, or WhatsApp for 701 Mawella Villa.

1. Booking Confirmation & Payment

To confirm a reservation:

• A 30% advance payment is required at the time of booking
  
• The remaining 70% must be paid at least 7 days before check-in
  

Bookings are considered confirmed only after the required payment is received.

2. Free Cancellation (Flexible Policy)

Guests may cancel their reservation free of charge up to 7 days before the check-in date.

• A 100% refund of all payments will be issued
  
• Refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days
  

3. Late Cancellation

If a reservation is cancelled within 7 days before check-in:

• The advance payment (30%) is non-refundable
  
• If full payment has already been made, only 70% will be refunded
  

4. No-Show Policy

If the guest does not arrive on the check-in date and fails to inform us:

• The total booking amount (100%) will be charged
  
• No refund will be issued
  

5. Early Departure

If a guest checks out earlier than the confirmed departure date:

• No refund will be provided for unused nights
  

6. Date Changes / Rescheduling

Guests may request to change their booking dates:

• Changes requested at least 7 days before check-in will be accommodated subject to availability
  
• Changes within 7 days of check-in are treated as a cancellation
  
• Price differences may apply depending on new dates
  

7. Peak Period & Special Dates

During peak seasons, public holidays, or special events:

• Stricter cancellation terms may apply
  
• Free cancellation may not be available
  
• Guests will be informed at the time of booking
  

8. Payment Refund Method

• Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for booking, where possible
  
• Any bank charges, currency conversion fees, or transaction costs are non-refundable
  

9. Force Majeure (Unavoidable Circumstances)

In cases of events beyond reasonable control, such as:

• Natural disasters
  
• Government restrictions
  
• Travel bans
  
• Public health emergencies
  

We will offer one of the following:

• Free date change
  
• Credit for future stay
  
• Partial or full refund (case-by-case basis)
  

10. Overbooking / Unavailability

If, due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to honor your booking:

• A full refund will be issued, OR
  
• Alternative accommodation will be arranged (if possible)
  

11. Third-Party Bookings

If the reservation is made through platforms such as:

• Booking.com
  
• Airbnb
  
• Agoda
  

Then:

• Their cancellation and refund policies will apply
  
• Guests must contact the respective platform directly
